Tony grew up in Sierra Madre, California, where he swam and played many sports through high school and he was recruited and played water polo at Loyola Marymount

University. He has taught, coached, and led programs at nationally recognized schools and youth service organizations for 30 years. He met his wife in 2006 and moved to the SCV in 2013 to raise their two children. He has coached many different sports and still enjoys playing water polo with the SCV Masters team he founded.
